15th June 2008 Annual Showing Show Trinity Park, Ipswich

It really feels as though the Deben Riding Club Showing show is really making it on to the events calendar.  We had entries from all across Suffolk this year.  With the price of diesel and the ‘credit crunch’ hitting us all I think that is a great achievement and a sign that we are offering the right classes.  The day was a glorious dry day although not too hot for the horses.  We had some lovely feedback from both competitors and judges on the relaxed atmosphere of the show which is exactly what we aim to achieve.  Whilst we have the qualifier classes for those who want to compete to a higher level we also offer classes that we hope give people a chance to ‘have a go’ at something they haven’t done before or just enjoy competing at a more light hearted level.

A huge thank you to all that helped both before and on the day and our judges, without all of whom the day couldn’t happen.  Role on next year when we hope to see you ‘having a go’  and competing again
